Once again team-building was a success at a top management IPMA meeting: President Veikko Välilä and an outstanding Representative, Morten Fangeld, made their valuable contributions to this spectacular aspect of the meeting with an ex-impromptu belly dance show in the exclusive Galata Tower Restaurant in Istanbul.
The meeting covered several other important subjects among which we would like to mention here:
Luigi Iperti’s presentation of the forthcoming 22nd IPMA World Congress in Rome, November 8-11 2008, was received with great interest by the Delegates, not just because of the outstanding number of papers submitted, but also because of the exceptional attraction of Rome as the setting for the Congress.
The Turkish MA, headed by Cetin Elmas was an exceptionally efficient host, offering splendid moments of relaxation at three unforgettable dinners ( see pictures ).

The meeting covered several other important subjects among which we would like to mention here:
- the presentation and delivery of Marketing Guidelines and the IPMA Brand Manual that all the MA are invited to adopt;
- the admission of Brazil and Greece as IPMA Members, while the admission of Iran will be discussed in the next Plenary Session of the Council of Delegates to be held in September 2008 in Copenhagen.
