In the recent Mednet meeting in Istanbul it was decided that IPMA congress in Rome will host two major events on this subject:
A one-day Seminar which will be attended by the Industrial Community, University Professors, PM trainers and PM Professionals interested in the development of the Project Management culture by means of the implementation of Project Management Competence Development Centers and PM Professional Associations in the area. The Seminar will be highly interactive and will draw on participants’ knowledge and contacts in the profession, as well as the expertise of IPMA officials involved in running similar initiatives in Europe, North Africa and Middle East. Exhibition space will be provided to present existing offers.
A Panel among Government Officials at the level of Ministers and General Managers, responsible for planning and implementation of industrialization and infrastructure plans. The panel will be chaired by an IPMA Project Manager specialist. The object of the Panel will be the presentation of different financial instruments and Project Management techniques that can give a strong contribution in overcoming the difficulties emerging in the implementation of such outstanding development plans.
