CCPM 2nd KNOWLEDGE SHARING FORUM
Frankfurt, Germany - Steigenberger Airport Hotel - April 4th and 5th, 2008

There is a strong emerging body of evidence and academic research indicating that traditional, linear project management tools and techniques, while still necessary, are insufficient to manage the most complex of today's projects through to successful delivery on time and within costs and performance targets. Consequently, Australian, UK and US Government bodies and Defence Industry have jointly supported an initiative to improve the international community's capability to deliver very complex projects across all industry sectors.

The primary aims of CCPM, an international not-for-profit body, are:

  1. Raising global awareness of and encouraging the use of appropriate strategies, contracts, and methodologies in the procurement and delivery of complex projects.

  2. Ensuring that complex projects remain strategically aligned to the delivery of value into society.

  3. Increasing the percentage of successfully delivered complex projects internationally.

  4. Developing the profession of Complex Project Management and the knowledge on which it is based.

  5. Prepare the today project management community for the tomorrow increasing numbers of complex projects.

CCPM is developing strong alliances with key international Project Management bodies such as IPMA to work together to further the aims above, and to collaborate on global research in this area.
Mr. PierMarco Romagnoli, assistant to Luigi Iperti, IPMA Roma WC Chairman, will be in Frankfurt.
