On 14th September 2007 a meeting was held in Lisbon to work on the MEDNET Programme.
The meeting was attended by delegates coming from Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Croatia, Iran, France, Italy, Portugal, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
The results of the meeting was very productive and a number of decisions have been taken including the preparation of a survey about project management maturity in each country and the creation of a Mediterranean University Network.
Considering that the main aim of MEDNET is to create the condition for the foundation of IPMA project management associations in the Mediterranean and Middle East Countries it was decided to speed up the research of managers and university professors, interested in this programme and coming from all the region including Maghreb Countries ( Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia) to be invited in the next meeting, that will be held in Istanbul in March 2008.
